Deerfield Valley Sportsmen's Club

As a sign of respect for our neighbors, shooting is allowed only:

• Monday through Saturday: 8:00 AM until sunset

• Sunday: 10:00 AM until half an hour before sunset

All club facilities are under active surveillance.

All members must adhere to the following rules when using club facilities:

​​

1. Club facilities, including the ranges, are for the exclusive use of current club members in good standing.

2. A member may bring a maximum of two guests to the range. Guests must be accompanied by their sponsoring member at all times.

3. All members and their guests must sign the log upon arriving at, and upon leaving, the range.

4. Members must show proper identification upon request.

5. No alcoholic beverages or intoxicating substances are allowed.

6. No vehicles are allowed on the range.

7. Use the proper range for your shooting: rifle, archery, etc.

8. Use only proper targets; no bottles or cans.

9. All non-shooters must remain behind the line of fire.

10. Firearms must remain unloaded until on the firing line and pointed downrange.

11. If you brought it, take it home. Leave nothing behind, including trash, brass, targets, etc. Sweep up all spent ammunition.

12. Hang targets on crossbars, not on posts.

13. No fully automatic weapons are allowed on the property.

14. No explosive rounds or targets are allowed on the property.

15. Lock all facilities (gates, doors, etc.) when leaving the property.

16. Report unsafe conditions or suspicious behavior to club leadership immediately.

Any infractions of these rules will result in forfeiture of your membership.
